I've got four girls, four times the drama, four times the self esteem issues in the future. I'm happy that Dove is changing their ad campaigns and focusing on real beauty. Here's some of their new commercials.
I agree with you 100%. It is really sad how young they start it anymore. My friends 13 yr old thinks she is fat because at some stores she fits into a size 1, but at other name brand stores she has to get a size 3, thus she must be fat. My glad Dove is making a better statement.
i had seen that first one before and L.O.V.E.D it! I'd never seen the second one, but thought it was wonderful. We are in the same boat as you, well we don't have 4, but we have 3 daughters and i hate to think that they will get sucked into the beauty is everything thing! can't they just stay young and innocent??
I had never seen those ads before. They are really great. the second one actually made me cry a little. It makes me really sad that our daughters will have to go through all of this crap. It's scary.
